Sound Solutions Spins Off MobileToys.com

Sound Solutions has spun off MobileToys.com Inc. The new company has been designed support the MobileToys.com web site, a recent project thus far undertaken by Sound Solutions. The new company is headquartered in Danvers, Mass., and is expected to be in full operation by June.
Bob Fields, formerly Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Sound Solutions, will be heading up MobileToys.com as its Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

"Since its inception six months ago, the MobileToys.com web site has grown rapidly and has become increasingly popular," says Fields. "Recognizing its overwhelming success and strong place in the market, it was a natural transition for us to form a new company that concentrates solely on this venture."

As part of its retailer support system, MobileToys.com will also encompass Sound Solutions' Club Maid membership and its popular MAID software program.

This split will enable Sound Solutions to concentrate more of its resources into its successful TSS2000 Point-of-Sale product.

Through its website, MobileToys.com will offer product information, as well as a variety of services for the mobile electronics industry. Consumers will have access to the updated product and automotive fit-guide information via the internet, in addition to referrals to local professional dealers and acknowledgment of industry associations.

Asked about long-term goals for his new company , Fields commented, "Our vision for MobileToys.com is that if you think of Yahoo, Lycos and those things, we want you to be thinking about MobileToys as well. So we have big hopes and dreams."
