MobileToys Becomes a Monster National Service Partner for iCruze
Monster announced that it has entered into an agreement with Massachusetts-based MobileToys Incorporated to become Monster’s National Service Provider for iCruze. Under the agreement, MobileToys will license the "Install Card" as well as provide managed installation services to facilitate the sale of the iCruze product by offering customers a professional installation solution across a nationwide dealer network, the company reports.
"We are very pleased to partner with MobileToys, one of the industry’s most recognized and respected installation services providers," said The Head Monster, Noel Lee. "iCruze is one of Monster’s most exciting new products and it is vitally important that it be installed correctly by MECP certified professionals in order to maximize its performance. Through MobileToys’ InstallerNet national network, we are confident that each new iCruze customer will be able to have their iCruze installed correctly so that they may enjoy their iPod tunes played directly through their car stereo system soon after their iCruze purchase."
Anthony Frangiosa, President and CEO of MobileToys, Inc., added, "With the tremendous popularity of iPod, iCruze is the ideal product for iPod customers to take their tunes wherever their vehicle takes them. We are proud to partner with Monster and our nationwide network of installers will be the ideal choice for consumers to get their iCruze’s installed by authorized professionals."
In conjunction with Sheridan, WY-based SoundGate, Monster’s iCruze is an interface that enables the connection of an iPod to a factory or aftermarket radio through the car’s existing CD changer port. An optional display is available as well. The iCruze display is a multi-line, 20-character backlit LCD display that highlights information such as song title and artist information. Since the iCruze is a direct connection to the automobile’s sound system via the CD changer port, sound quality is incredibly clear, according to Monster.
